Wonderlust's logo, which has Wonderlust in a handwritten font and Productions in big block letters, there are three big circles around the left side of the logo and a star inside the O in Wonderlust. We spend a lot of time working in circles, so it's embedded in our logo.

Wonderlust Productions is holding auditions for a new play created from stories of caregivers. We are seeking experienced professional actors to perform alongside our ensemble and people from the caregiver community of varying theater experience.

Because of the community-collaborative nature of this project, our rehearsal process will be more weeks with fewer rehearsals each week than a typical professional production. Rehearsals will take place weeknights and weekends between July 29 and October 10, with 1-3 rehearsals per week for the first 8 weeks and 3-5 rehearsals per week the last 3 weeks. Performances will take place Fridays-Sundays for four weekends October 11 - November 3.

This is a paid, non-union, employee-based position. Compensation will be $18 per hour for rehearsals and $75 per performance, which should add up to roughly $2,200-$2,800 for each performer, depending on size of role and time commitment.

We are casting many roles, so we are interested in applications from all genders, ethnicities, and ages (18+). If you are interested in this unique project, please express your interest by filling out this brief form by no later than end of day Tuesday May 21st. You will be notified by May 24th if you are invited to audition, and if so, you’ll be invited to pick an audition time slot on either Tuesday June 4th between 6-9 pm or Saturday June 8th between 1:30-3:00 p.m.
