Trademark Theater 2024 General Auditions

Sign-ups are now live for Trademark’s general auditions for Season 8! Trademark is seeking both union and non-union performers for their upcoming 2024/25 season. 

AUDITION INFORMATION:

Open Auditions will be held on May 6th and May 7th, 2024 at the AMill Artist Lofts Performance Hall
315 SE Main St, Minneapolis, MN 55414 (building access info below). 

Please prepare two contrasting monologues for your audition totaling no more than two minutes. If you would like to sing as part of this audition, you may substitute one monologue for a 16 to 32-bar cutting of a song. Please bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. 

Trademark strives to create spaces that welcome authenticity and strength in the self, so please, show up as you! Performers of all races, genders, sexual orientations, sizes, and abilities are encouraged to audition. Trademark is specifically looking for Asian American performers for The Fox Sister and queer identifying performers and one trans masculine performer for Outlaws of Neehai Valley.

Auditions/callbacks for specific productions and readings may be held at a later date and will be scheduled by Trademark staff, if necessary.

SEASON INFORMATION:

All current Trademark projects are in various states of development and range from commissions, private development workshops, showcase presentations, readings, and full productions. Current projects in Trademark’s pipeline that may be included in future seasons are: 

• The Reunion: A Murder Mystery (play, fast paced and funny, millennial hijinks) created by Tyler Michaels King and Tyler Mills
• The Measures (musical, sweeping, funny, poetic, heartfelt) book by Kira Obolensky, music and lyrics by David Darrow
• What You Can’t Keep (film/play hybrid, intimate, touching) by Harrison David Rivers
• Ostentatious Outlaws of Neehai Valley (musical, queer comedy, irreverent and audacious) by Keith Hovis
• The Fox Sister and Other Guilty Parties (play, Asian folklore combined with modern drama, dark and intimate) by Eric Sharp
• Work Shift (play, workplace dramedy about unions) by Tyler Mills
• The Picture of Dorian Gray (play, gothic thriller, epic visuals) adapted by Tyler Michaels King
