Performances: Thursday, September 6th-Friday, September 7th at 7:00 pm and Saturday, September 8th at 2:00 pm.

 

"The classic tale of Robin Hood and his gang of Merry Men, who rob the rich to help the poor, is retold in a musical form-sort of! Robin comes home from fighting in the Crusades to find his world was not as he left things! He finds his servant is blind, his father is dead, he's betrothed to Maid Marian, and Princess Joan has classified him as an outlaw! He finds solace in Sherwood forest as he assembles his Merry Men to rebel against Princess Joan and her tyrannical rule as she imposes insane taxes on the less wealthy. Princess Joan's evil toady, Sheriff Nottingham is desperately in love with Maid Marian, the cousin of King Richard and Princess Joan. In order to capture Robin Hood, she organizes an archery tournament and is offering Maid Marian's hand in marriage as the prize! Robin, however, may never have a chance to compete. Shenanigans and evil plans arise in this hilarious and slightly musical play with many odd and lovable characters!"
