Do you remember slumber parties from the late 80's and early 90's? Staying up late playing Truth or Dare and Girl Talk Dateline, eating junk food while watching “Adventures in Babysitting,” or dancing to Paula Abdul and Tiffany with your friends? Were Luke Perry or Patrick Dempsey your secret, or not-so-secret, boyfriends? Did you own Caboodles, Trapper Keepers, or neon jelly bracelets? Were you a Kristy, Claudia, Mary Anne, Dawn, Stacey, Lauren, Kate, Stephanie, Patti, Jessica or Elizabeth?
If so, then this is the show for you!*

From one half of the people who brought you “The Saved by the Bell Show,” one third of the people who brought you “Saucer Con,” and one other super cool person, comes a brand-new story for the electric youth in all of us, filled with dancing, music, food, pranks, outfits, secrets, boys, games and more, inspired by the legendary books “The Babysitters Club” and “Sleepover Friends!”

*Everyone else welcome too!

With warm-hearted wit and infectious joy, Silent Sky tells the riveting true story of Henrietta Leavitt, a pioneering scientist in an age when women couldn’t even vote. Despite not being allowed to touch a telescope, Henrietta and her coworkers at the Harvard Observatory made ground-breaking discoveries about the universe that are still vital today, over a century later. If you liked the movie Hidden Figures, you won’t want to miss this “luminously beautiful play” that will change how you look at both the heavens and the earth.

Human Combat Chess is a recurring show featuring different matches in a fictional sports league playing the sport of Human Combat Chess. Each team fields 16 players of all shapes and sizes that are assigned positions identical to those in the classic game of Chess, who are then ordered to move by their respective Kings. The similarities to Chess begin to unravel when a player moves into a piece occupied by another, as they now fight over the square! This choreographed fight can end with either piece as the victor, holding the square.

To bring you the most entertaining fights possible, we've assembled the best team of fight directors in the Twin Cities area. While some of our actors are taking the board for their first time, we give them ample rehearsal time to make sure each fight is a unique, exciting experience for the audience. This gives the audience the adrenaline rush of MMA with the reassurance that the fighters will come out of it safely.

Human Combat Chess combines the drama of theatre with the edge of your seat thrill of sports, and there's something for everyone. The event is family friendly. If you would take your kids to a hockey game, you should bring them along to Human Combat Chess!
