Less than a year after the Civil War’s end, Clara Barton—a nurse and humanitarian known as the ‘Angel of the Battlefield’—testified to Congress about her experiences in the postwar South. Her work brought her to the Andersonville prisoner-of-war camp, where Union soldiers had died by the thousands.
Sobering and inspiring, Themselves They Made Immaculate is an insightful portrait of one of America’s great heroes. And a remarkable look into the crucial—and precarious—era that affects Americans’ lives to this day.
Linda Sue Anderson as Clara Barton

If you thought you knew the story of “The Princess and The Pea,” you may be in for a walloping surprise! This modern interpretation not only puts a twist on the well-known fairy tale but also brings a new perspective to the classic musical comedy. Prince Dauntless hasn’t had any luck finding a bride, until along comes the unconventional Princess Winnifred—but can she pass the test? Carried on a wave of wonderful songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking story of royal courtship and comeuppance provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Chances are you'll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again. Rating: Some material may not be suitable for young children.

what if is the proposition to look at ourselves, our world in different ways. Letting our imaginations take flight and carry us to where we did not think possible. Or didn’t know was there. Or would prefer not to look at. What if we could see through another’s eyes? What would that look like? What if the mirror was held up to nature, but instead of seeing what’s reflected we saw what was inside? What would it say? What if we could? What if we did? So…what if?

“Some stories are so remarkable we tell them again and again. Those are the things worth remembering.”
Fearing the unthinkable, a family flees into the wilderness. Fifty years later, park rangers Callie and David stumble across an unbelievable discovery.
While on a survey expedition, they encounter Vira, a woman born and raised in nearly complete isolation. Over the course of several days, they nurture a fragile trust as she shares her extraordinary story. Ultimately, they are faced with an agonizing choice: reveal her existence to a world that she has never known and cannot grasp, or help keep her hidden on a planet that is running out of space for secrets.
What happens when an impossible future collides with an imagined past? A spare and moving examination of a secluded life, and the ripples it makes, even from the depths of a shrinking wilderness.
nimbus’ next journey begins November 9th.
