Associate Technical Director - This is a 20 hour/week position.

The Associate Technical Director will serve as lead TD on two productions across STC's HCA & school site productions.  Duties as lead TD include pricing scenic supplies, supplies aquisition, building sets with staff, labor overhire & adult volunteers and overseeing all technical elements of the productions.  In addition to this leadership role, the ATD will assist with building, lighting or sound for shows not assigned as technical director.

Ideal candidates would have the ability to work effectively on cross-functional teams in a shared shop environment; have general knowledge of non-motorized fly systems and ability to read light plots. Ability to frequently stand, climb ladders, lift and move up to 50 lbs & operate power tools is required.

Knowledge of ETC Eos family of consoles, QLAB and Vectorworks a plus.

The compensation for this position is $20/hour.

Painters & Carpenters - These positions are hired on an as-needed, casual basis.

We are looking to expand our call list of carpenters & painters for overhire as needed.

The compensation for these positions is $18-20/hour.

Assistant Stage Managers - These positions are hired on a per-show basis.

The primary function of the assistant stage manager is to manage and supervise youth actors and crew backstage during performances and to assist the stage manager in supervising youth actors and crew and other management duties as needed (this varies greatly dependent upon the production.)  Ability to pull flies is needed. 

We are especially looking for someone interested in assisting with the flying of performers during the run of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (November - December rehearsals & run).

Assistant Stage Managers are hired on a per show basis, with fee varying by length of show run.  The range of rates for this season is $1500 - $2300.
