Wages and Benefits
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience; medical insurance, dental and vision insurance; employer contributions to a Health Savings Account; flexible spending account; participation in the agency-sponsored retirement plan; employer-paid life insurance; long-term disability insurance; generous paid time off, plus 9 employer paid holidays per year.

The Job
A typical day as PCYC’s Capri Sales Manager provides an opportunity to support the success of PCYC through meeting or exceeding annual rental income projections for the Capri Theater. Responsibilities will include the following:
• Converting rental leads into booked agreements by providing timely responses to rental inquiries, conducting tours and phone consultations, and generating proposals.
• Issuing invoices and collection of payments for bookings.
• Maintaining accurate recording of all revenue.
• Coordinating promotional efforts with the Capri Marketing Director.
• Providing quality client experiences through clear and timely customer communications.
• Developing and communicating a comprehensive Event Details Sheet (BEO) and timeline for events that accurately reflects event requirements and prepares the Capri team for success.
• Securing and providing the Audience Services Manager and Communications Director with marquee and website updates for each event.
• Protecting PCYC’s investment in the Capri facility by informing clients of all Capri policies, procedures, and security practices.
• Working closely with the rest of the Capri team to create a cohesive, up-to-date, and accurate Capri calendar and customer database.
• Discovering and soliciting prospective clients by researching and attending events where Capri spaces may be marketed, networking, and providing one-on-one outreach.

Who You Are
• You have at least 3 years of experience in sales.
• You have a 2 year-degree with a focus or experience in Theater or Event preferred.
• You demonstrate strong conflict management skills with the ability to apply new means of resolving conflicts in an arts setting.
• You have previous experience working with diverse groups of people of all socioeconomic conditions, or you can demonstrate that you value diversity of thought, backgrounds, and perspectives.
• You possess excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• You demonstrate knowledge of outside arts resources in the metro area that could benefit clients.
• You demonstrate computer competency with the ability to use these resources effectively in
accomplishing work.
• You have the ability to handle multiple tasks without the help of others while maintaining attention to detail.
• You have a valid driver’s license, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to meet PCYC’s driving record requirements. Please note that if the license was not issued in the state of Minnesota, you have 60 days after becoming a Minnesota resident in which to apply for your Minnesota driver's license or permit (not applicable for new hires living out of state).
