We have a need for a skilled Audio Support Technician to join our production team for a groundbreaking show that debuts on October 25, 2024, at Ames Center in Burnsville.  See www.poerockmusical.com for more information about this show.

Responsibilities:

  • Familiar with using trigger buttons for QLab for the pit conductor.
  • Setup and test the method to capture multi-track audio off of the theater FOH digital Yamaha TL5 Channel Mixer. The  multitrack captures will be using a DAW or capture tool (Capture, Tracks Live, or similar) to capture the recording of each of  the 5 performances for a future album/vinyl soundtrack release.
  • Coordinate with main stage, pit conductor and front of house engineer for buttons to arm/stop QLab.
  • Must be able to attend pit rehearsals in the evenings of October 16,20,21 as a minimum. Additional nights if required  would be October 22,23,24.
  • Work at least the first shows 10/25, 26, 27, 30, 31
  • This is not a mixing role, but a audio design and set up, as the show has a house engineer to mix the show.
  • Must have QLab and audio engineering experience in a theater production environment.
  • Stipend or hourly rate to be negotiated.
