Madelines Christmas

Wanted: Movement Coordinator for Madeline's Christmas by Merrill Arts Center, directed by Scott Gilbert -
$800-$1,200 DOE

Respectful, organized, creative director seeking movement coordinator. Rehearsing Monday through Thursday evenings at East Ridge High School in Woodbury October and November. Performances first two weekends in December (movement coordinator does not need to attend load in, strike, or performances). Tech week is Dec 1-6 - attendance for some of tech week will be needed.  Movement Coordinator need not be at every rehearsal. Organized director will schedule you in advance, coordinating with your schedule, and will not call you unless you are needed. No surprises. Advance notice always.  Looking for someone to choreograph "12 little girls all in a row" for big pillow fight that turns into snowstorm, flying carpets zooming over Paris,  two little "mice" doing scene transitions, and other assorted bits. Plus someone who can watch the show and make some notes/corrections with a focus on movement. Director envisions moments going into slow motion, some freezes while others move, etc.  Viewpoints, LaCoq, or other training in theatrical movement preferred, but not required.
