Job Description:
The St. Catherine University Institute for Simulation and Interprofessional Learning (I-SAIL) is calling for 6 diverse actors to participate in a video shoot for educational videos. In these videos, actors will engage in short (5-7 minute) scenarios involving racism, discrimination, and microaggressions that occur in the healthcare setting. These videos will be used to educate students in how to respond as "up-standers" in the healthcare setting, and how to advocate for themselves, their colleagues, and their patients in these difficult situations. Actors can expect to shoot multiple scenarios and may be asked to serve as both patients and healthcare professionals. Scripts will be provided prior to the shoot date and should be memorized.
Hours and Location:
Shoot will occur at St. Catherine University on Saturday 2/15/24 from 8:30 - 11:30 AM. Additional location details will be provided upon hire.
Compensation:
Actors will be compensated for their time at $50/hr.
