“Made in India”
A play by Kristen Marx, presented by SAATH
Made in India is a powerful, emotionally layered story exploring identity, adoption, race, and belonging through the life of Khloe, a transracial, transnational adoptee. The play blends realism with movement, projections, puppetry and storytelling to examine family, culture, and self-discovery.
Note: In a time where blind casting is more desired and welcome, this play requires the opposite to tell the story authentically.
