Alfred stalled with some improvisation while the cast assessed whether to double back or go on; they decided it wasn't too confusing to just go on, that not too much was lost, so the cast continued. Great audience, and very generous after the curtain speech for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids, completely oblivious to the fact that they had been cheated out of a full page of text. Nerves thoroughly soaked in Balvenie in the dressing room apres-show. |
