Set during the collapse of vaudeville and the rise of burlesque, Gypsy is the story of famed burlesque performer Gypsy Rose Lee and Momma Rose, the stage mother who steamrolls everyone in her way, propelling her daughters to stardom.Gypsy features an incredible score by Jule Styne and Stephen Sondheim, including the legendary songs “Everything’s Coming up Roses,” “Let Me Entertain You” and of course, “Rose’s Turn.”
