HONK! a musical tale of “The Ugly Duckling”

HONK! is a delightful and award-winning musical adaptation of the 1843 Hans Christian Andersen story The Ugly Duckling, one of the world’s most beloved fables celebrating what makes each of us special. Brought to you by Messiah’s Glory Players Theater Company, this touching musical comedy will captivate audiences of all ages!

Ugly looks quite a bit different from his duckling brothers and sisters. The other animals on the farm are quick to notice and point this out, despite his mother’s protective flapping. Feeling rather foul about himself, Ugly finds himself on an adventure of self-discovery, all the while unknowingly outwitting a very hungry cat. Along the way, he meets a whole flock of unique characters and finds out that being different is not a bad thing.

Shows are Fridays & Saturdays, March 11, 12, 18 & 19 @ 7 pm and Sundays, March 13 & 20 @ 2 pm

Tickets are $15 for adults ages 16 and up, $10 for children and youth ages 5 to 15, and preschoolers ages 4 and under are free. The show is best enjoyed by ages 6 and up, but all ages are welcome. All theatergoers, regardless of age, must have a ticket and must wear a face mask that securely covers the nose and mouth. All ticket holders ages 5 and older must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
