Battle of the "BEST" Short Films

SCREAM it off SCREEN is a short film competition where the audience can yell "GONG" if they want a film to be cut short (à la Gong Show of the 70's). A real gong is banged and a beautiful song is sang in tribute. People can also combat the 'gongers' by yelling "LET IT PLAY!". Majority rules and crowd applause determines the winner of the huge cash prize at the end of the night. The show is jam packed with strange characters, comedy, and music during the segments between films. The regularly programmed show happens the first Friday of every month at the Parkway Theater in Minneapolis, but the upcoming show at The Fitzgerald Theater in St Paul will be something special. All the winners of 2023 will go head to head in a Battle of the "Best" Short Films. Let us give you some wild moments to remember on Saturday, May 18th!
