A once-famous white historian hires a Black grad student to help research his new book on Lincoln. But she has a secret agenda: to document the family history that says Lincoln was her ancestor. Race, class, gender, academic politics, and the value of the oral tradition vs. the power of the written document are all examined in the world premiere of an audacious new play written by Mike McGeever. With its compelling characters and dramatic plot, LINCOLN’S CHILDREN promises a captivating and thought-provoking theatrical experience!
