In this thrilling courtroom drama, a high school teacher stands on trial for the crime of teaching evolution in a 1920's Tennessee classroom. The case quickly becomes a national circus as big city lawyers, ambitious politicians, and reporters from all around the world descend on a sleepy small town that has already made up it's mind. As the tension and the temperature ratchet higher and higher, titans of American freedom clash in this bold interpretation of one of the greatest pieces of 20th century theater.
