Allison is honored to have been selected as one of three Pillsbury House + Theatre Naked Stages Fellows. She will conceive, write, and perform an original solo show to be performed at Pillsbury House in December, 2022.
Allison will be touring with RARE: Stories of Dis Ease. Sod House Theater has teamed up with The University of Minnesota’s Center for Orphan Drug Research and local treasure, Kevin Kling, to develop a new production adapting the Greek tragedy, Philoctetes, to help a Upper Midwest audience gain greater awareness and deeper understanding of the medical, economic, psychological, and social challenges facing people with rare diseases.

Biography
Allison Witham is a local Twin Cities’ performer, director, writer, teacher, lecturer, and deviser. She received BA’s in English Lit and Theatre Arts and an MEd. in education from the U of M. Allison is a co-artistic director and founding member of Transatlantic Love Affair, a teaching artist at the Guthrie, and her theatrical writing has been published in Press Roi Fainéant, Rejection Letters, The Empty Room, and The Dirty Girls Come Clean anthology. Additionally, Allison has been honored to have perfomed and/or taught with The Guthrie Theatre, Black Label Movement, the Playwright's Center, Walking Shadow, Frank Theatre, The History Theatre, Theatre Forever, Artistry, Strike Theatre, Mainly Me Productions, Live Action Set, Jon Ferguson Theater, Sodhouse Theater, Stages Theatre Company, and Freshwater Theatre. She is 2022 Naked Stages Fellow.
