Elizabeth’s current news

After spending the summer canoeing & camping in the woods, and spending the fall touring with GTC Dramatic Dialogues, Elizabeth is back in Minneapolis! She is likely to be found auditioning around town or working with Raye Birk in his Master Acting Class at the Guthrie.

Elizabeth was named Outstanding Supporting Actress by Lavendar Magazine last year for her role in Red Velvet with Walking Shadow Theatre Company.

Elizabeth Efteland is a Minneapolis-based actor who loves dramatic realism & anything Shakespeare, but has recently been having a great time dipping her toes into some comedic work as well.  Recent productions include Thomas Tallis (Orchard Theatre Collective), Red Velvet and The River (Walking Shadow Theatre Company); Love Person (Park Square Theatre); Detroit '67 (Penumbra Theatre Company); Sister Calling My Name (Open Window Theatre); 4000 Miles (Park Square Theatre); Over the River and Through the Woods (Sidekick Theatre); Twelfth Night (Chameleon Theatre Circle & Green T Productions); The Black Hand Side That Feeds You (broadcast on Jazz88FM); and bottom, an original play about sex trafficking in Minnesota (blank slate theatre).
