Biography
Since 1989 Greta has worked as a writer, director and performer across the country. After 7 years touring and working in regional theatre, and a stint in New York City, she moved to the Twin Cities in 1996. Local credits include Dudley Riggs Brave New Workshop; Hey City Theatre; Mixed Blood; the Ordway; History Theatre; Illusion Theatre; Playwright's Center; Theatre Unbound; Minnetonka Theatre; Yellow Tree; the Old Log; Theatre Elision and the Plymouth Playhouse, where she originated the role of Mavis in the popular Church Basement Ladies musicals. Greta also works regularly as a voice over and commercial artist; travels the country as a motivational speaker, corporate entertainer and a “Looney Lutheran”; writes the annual Medora Musical; and has scripted the last seven installments of the highly successful Church Basement Ladies series. Other writing credits include: LEMONADE FOR THE LAWNBOY, CHRISTMAS ON THE RANCH, BORN IN A TRUNK, THE MEDORA GOSPEL BRUNCH and numerous awards shows.
