Iréna Flury is a Swiss Austrian actor and singer who just moved to St Paul for love.
She graduated from the Conservatory of Arts in Vienna, Austria, in 2007 and has since worked as an actor and singer in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, in musical theater, straight theater, film and television.
Irena came to fame in Austria when she starred as the lead role Emma Carter in Austria's most successful musical theater production of all times, the Original show "I am from Austria", which played in Vienna over 450 times for over half a million people.
Other stage credits include Maria in Bernsteins Westside Story, Lisa Carew in Jekyll and Hyde, Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Rosalind in As you Like It, and many more.
Irena appeared on TV as a main cast member in 2 different Austrian TV shows and played Film and Television roles in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.
She acted in the internationally acclaimed Israeli/Austrian Coproduction "The Testament" by Amichai Greenberg, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival in 2017.
Iréna was nominated for 2 different acting awards in Austria, the Undine Award for Best Actress in a Television Film in 2008 and the renowned Nestroy Award for Best Newcomer in 2014.
