Jex Arzayus has been acting professionally for the last two years. Jex is currently working on the Gadfly Production of 60 queer plays in 90 minutes as a writer and performer. In the spring Jex just accepted the role of Sylvie in “Feminaal” a new production by Grumble theater. Jex was honored to be in this year’s Chameleon Circle Theater Production of “One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest” as the role of Martini. Jex is a company member and Director of Education and Outreach for the Band Group a new theater company that pairs theater with a cause. Jex was in this years Fringe production of “Womyn’s Mysteries” as a part of the ensemble. Jex was also a finalist in Savages Umbrellas Night of New Works writing and directing an original play called “Foiled”. Jexs debut show was “Pope Joan the First Transgender Pope,” They played brother Einhart during last year's Fringe Festival. Jex was also cast in “Tart” by The Band Group at Bryant Lake Bowl this June playing Damis. Born and raised in New Jersey Jex now calls Minneapolis home for the past 11 years. Jex is a middle/high school art teacher in Maple Grove . Jex is in the improv troup “The Sharpies" at Huge Theater we are the official fan club of the Shrieking Harpies. Jex found their passion for acting 2 years ago and would love to act, write and direct full time!
