Josh’s current news
Josh is currently working in Creede, Colorado at Creede Repertory Theatre where is playing Headwaiter and understudying Georg in She Loves Me, and playing Officer Klein and understudying Mortimer in Arsenic and Old Lace.
In the fall, Josh will take on the lead role of Boy/Peter in Peter and the Starcatcher at Theater at Monmouth in Monmouth, Maine.
Josh Zwick is a recent graduate of at the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater BFA Actor Training Program. Coming up next, Josh is incredibly excited to play the roles of Tom/Marshall/Security Guy/News Anchor in Minnesota Jewish Theatre Company's upcoming production of Church & State. He just finished up a busy summer where he worked at Creede Repertory Theatre in Colorado, appearing in both She Loves Me and Arsenic and Old Lace, and Theater at Monmouth in Maine where he played Peter in Peter and the Starcatcher. This past spring, Josh played the role of Lee Baum in Arthur Miller's The American Clock directed by Joseph Price in the The Guthrie Theater's Dowling Studio. Other professional credits include various roles in the Minnesota Centennial Showboat's production of Under the Gaslight directed by former Guthrie Associate Artistic Director, John Miller-Stephany, and also the role of Clown in Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival's production of The Winter's Tale where Josh worked with veteran actors Wendy Robie, Grant Goodman, and L. Peter Callendar. He also played Costard in Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival's touring production of Love's Labour's Lost, lending his guitar skills to the show's Offenbach theme. When off the stage, Josh dabbles in commercials, voiceover, and print modeling in the Twin Cities. Josh is an avid singer, skilled guitarist, and an experienced improviser.
