Previously Executive Director with Persistent Theater Productions (2018-2019) and recipient of an MRAC Grant, Julie Ann played "Agnes" in When We Were Young and Unafraid in Spring 2019 with PTP.  She debuted with PTP in Spring 2018 as "Lady Reveller" in The Basset Table and was named "Notable Performance 2018" in Lavender Magazine. Julie Ann was in the Fringe 2017 in Patriot/Traitor, The One Minute Play Festival (History Theatre), The Bernice Project (Phoenix Theater), The Taming (Theatre Unbound) and The Events (Guthrie).  Julie Ann performs in theatre, opera, musical theater, dance, concert, recital and cabaret. In addition, she is a commercial actor, print model, voice-over talent and award-winning competitive ballroom dancer. She maintains a private voice and bodywork studio in Minneapolis.  Julie Ann has performed with Guthrie Theater, Theatre Unbound, Phoenix Theater, Minnesota Opera, Studio Lirico (Italy), Opera 101, Gilbert & Sullivan Very Light Opera Co., Northstar Opera, Sunset Playhouse, Kenwood Orchestra, Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, Thursday Musical and Dance With Us America, among others.  She was the recipient of a Schubert Club Special Artist Grant and holds an MM in Voice from the University of Minnesota.  She has studied French, Italian, German, Spanish, Latin, Czech and Croatian.
