Melissa will be starting out 2019 as an actor with Minnesota Crisis Intervention Team and will be featured in The Grumble Theatre's production of Feminaal in St. Paul in February.

As an educator Melissa enjoys teaching theatre classes at River Valley Dance Academy and Stages Theatre Company.

Biography

Melissa Miller is a recent Twin Cities transplant carrying an MFA in Theatre Performance and Pedagogy from Texas Tech University. She recently began acting with Minnesota Crisis Intervention Team and has enjoyed performing with Theatre 301 and Blinking Eye Theatre. She teaches theatre classes for students from 1st to 11th grade at River Valley Dance Academy and Stages Theatre Company. Melissa is also a recognized actor combatant with skills proficiency in unarmed, rapier/dagger, and broadsword. Her passion lies in storytelling, advocacy, and activism as she focuses on finding empathy and identity in each role she portrays.
