About Brakkesyke:
BRAKKESYKE, Norwegian for “Barrack Fever,” known in English as cabin fever, follows two soldiers in a guard house at the edge of the world. The war is far away, until it comes very, very close. Two soldiers wait for something to happen. Maybe it's better if nothing does.

Brakkesyke is a new play by award winning Singaporean playwright Myle Yan Tay premiering at the 2026 Minnesota Fringe Festival, directed by Pittsburgh Director Spencer Byham-Carson.
