A haunted inn. A midnight vow. And a night no one will survive quietly.
When bold TV producer Norma Corwin decides to spend one last night in the infamous Inn of the Three Sisters before it’s demolished, she’s determined to prove the ghost stories wrong. Instead, she’s met with eerie warnings, unexpected visitors, and spirits doomed to relive a long-ago murder.
With mysterious strangers, suspicious motives, and just the right amount of spooky fun, this fast-paced mystery-comedy delivers chills, laughs, and twists at every turn.
ROLES:
SUTTON: A mean-looking, unshaven character, old before his time.
NORMA: A dynamic young woman in her early twenties. She is lovely enough to be on the cover of any fashion magazine. Her manner is decisive, forceful, and she gives off an aura of glamor and success.
GINNY: Norma's assistant, about eighteen. She is rather sensible, in contrast to Norma, but she can be just as expansive and animated when the mood strikes.
MOE: He is Norma's agent; young, brash, typical of the youth- ful Hollywood wheelers and dealers. He is devoted to protecting the best interests of his clients.
CLANTON : A lawman - either a sheriff's deputy or a highway patrolman. He is good-looking and in his early twenties.
STATE ENGINEER: A construction worker. May be any age.
CAROLYN: A pretty girl, about fifteen.
RHODA and BATES: Two youthful but shady characters you wouldn't buy a used moped from. They look decidedly "bad news.'' Both are street-wise, tough and lethal.
MYSTERIOUS YOUNG WOMAN: A young woman - or teenager - on a dangerous mission.
TOM: A young serviceman.
MISS CRISP: A nurse.
BETH, JULIE and MARY: Spirit manifestations. They move like figures in a dream and look like horrifying spectres from some crypt. They always speak directly to the audience and their voices sound eerie and phantom-like.
FLINT: Another spirit manifestation. He wears dirty work clothes. His skin is like chalk and he walks with a curious gait-like a bizarre mechanical toy. He also speaks directly into the audience and delivers his lines staring straight ahead.
MADAM LUGOSI: An expert in ESP. She is a wildly theatrical creature. She's eccentric and opinion-ated on matters concerning the "spirit world."
MORGANA: Madam Lugosi's teenage daughter. She is dominated by her mother.
DOREEN: An attractive young horsewoman dressed in riding clothes.
