This year Valleyfair Amusement Park celebrates it's 50th anniversary!
Valleyfair Live Entertainment is seeking talented and energetic performers to support our exciting lineup of shows and attractions for our fall season!
The Valleyfair Live Entertainment team is seeking...
- Strong, versatile singers trained in musical theatre and contemporary genres
- High-energy and versatile dancers with ability in many performance styles
- Energetic actors and hosts who love to interact with audiences
- Skilled musicians with great stage presence
Our fall season includes two Live Entertainment events, Tricks and Treats and ValleyScare! Each event includes its own set of shows. There is opportunity to learn TWO shows and perform in both events!
ValleyScare
Rehearsals begin: September 7
Shows Open: September 19
Shows Operate: Fridays and Saturdays, between the hours of 5pm and Midnight
Shows Close: October 31
Tricks and Treats
Rehearsals begin: September 14
Shows Open: September 26
Shows Operate: Saturdays and Sundays, between the hours of 9am and 6pm
Shows Close: November 1

We are also seeking the following team members,

- Makeup Artists
- Use multiple mediums and styles to apply makeup to our actors!
- Opportunity to apply makeup to both scare actors and stage performers.
- Previous airbrush skills not required - will be taught on the job.
- Primarily weekend work hours.
- Examples of previous work required, and will be requested after application is submitted and reviewed.

- Costuming and Wardrobe Technicians
- Build and maintain costuming elements and design integrity throughout fall season.
- Assist with alterations and repairs throughout fall season.
- Assist with distribution and collection of costuming elements to/from scare actors and stage performers.

- Scare Actors
- Bring fear to life in one of our nine haunted attractions!
- Costuming, makeup, and props provided.
- Must be comfortable around loud sounds, low lighting, flashing lights, thick fog, and potentially disturbing content.
- Exclusively Friday and Saturday night work hours, except for training hours and any special requests.
- Casting Session required after application is submitted and reviewed.

- Scare Blackouts
- Work behind the scenes in one of our nine haunted attractions to support both scare actors and our guests!
- Non-costumed position - black shirt provided, must provide own black pants.
- Must be comfortable around loud sounds, low lighting, flashing lights, thick fog, and potentially disturbing content.
- Exclusively Friday and Saturday night work hours, except for training hours and any special requests.
- Interview required after application is submitted and reviewed.
