Rosy Simas is a Minneapolis choreographer presenting work internationally. She is an enrolled member of the Seneca Nation. Simas is a 2015 Guggenheim Fellow and a 2013 Native Arts and Cultures Foundation Fellow. She was named City Pages Artist of The Year in 2014. Recent awards include: TIWAHE Foundation, First People’s Fund, National Presenters Network Creation Fund and a NEFA National Dance Project Tour fund.
