Inspired by the real-life Newsboys Strike of 1899 in New York City, Jack Kelly and his friends live day-by-day selling newspapers for pennies. When a publishing giant raises the price the Newsies pay - the Newsies declare a strike against all the publishing giants. Through courage, determination, and friendship the Newsies are ready to take a stand and seize the day!
