2024-2025 SOAR Staff Needed

Theater for Seniors Troupe

Note: This is a brand new program that SOAR has just adopted.  We will perform three to four 30-40min musical reviews for Senior Centers, Assisted Living Residents, or nursing homes in the communities that SOAR represents.  The three to four performances would be performed between September 2024 and May 2025 (so one every couple to three months).  There are a lot of details to work out as this is a new program for SOAR and a new audience for us to reach to provide entertainment. The position/s we are looking for are minimal as this is a new launch.  If you possess multiple skills to execute this program, then please list your experiences in the resume you send.  Once position/s are filled, we will send out an all call for actors/singers to register to audition.  This process will be very step by step.  Lots of trial and error.

Vocal Director for teen ensemble (rehearsals are Saturday mornings starting in October through November.  Rehearsal are 1.5 hours long.  One evening performance second Saturday, December 14th, 2024.

Alice in Wonderland Winter/Jan/Feb 2025 (Rehearsals Jan and Feb 2025 on M, T, & TH 6:00pm-8:30pm.  Tech Feb 15th-20th, 2025.  Performances Feb 21st-23rd, 2025). Stage production for grades 1st-8th.

SOAR camps are perfect for all skill levels and those who want to focus on having fun! We will learn a play or musical for a performance at the end of camps. These camps are great for building confidence and creativity in a relaxed and playful environment.
