The National Theatre for Children is looking for local Twin Cities actors for our touring productions. Tour details are as follows... 

  • Actors need to be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license
  • Tours start between January and March 2025 and vary in length. 
  • Tours have a one-week rehearsal process in the Twin Cities.
  • Tour length varies from two to nine weeks, but all tours are out of state and remain on the road for the duration of the contract. 
  • Pay is $315 for the rehearsal week and $500/week once on the road. 
  • All shows are original, education comedies that teach important societal issues such as energy conservation, financial literacy, electrical safety, oral hygiene, etc. 
  • Tours are all two person tours. Actors share duties such as driving, load in/load out, light bookkeeping. 
  • Double occupancy housing is provided while on tour. 
  • Touring vehicle (either a sedan or mini van depending on the tour) is provided as well as all gas for the vehicle. 

 

Auditions will be Saturday, November 16th 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. (20 minute audition slots) at our office at 7003 W. Lake St., Suite 200// Minneapolis, MN 55426.
