Classical Actors Ensemble is accepting actor and stage manager/asm submissions for our 2025 Shakespeare In Our Parks production:
Classical Actors Ensemble (CAE) performs the plays of the English Renaissance as they were originally intended: as popular entertainment for everyone.
Since 2014, CAE has toured free, outdoor summer Shakespeare productions to parks across the Twin Cities, playing to a total of over 28,000 patrons in that time. This year’s title will be a Shakespeare comedy chosen to best suit our pool of actors.

Rehearsals begin late April (generally three or four evenings a week and Saturday afternoons)
Stipends paid to principal performers: ~$400 – $800, varying by role/responsibilities.
Actors participating in set-up/transportation crew receive an additional fee.
The stage manager stipend is $1,000.
We are seeking adult, non-union performers of all ages. Strong musical instrument ability is a plus.
Teens 16+ are welcome as interns and ensemble members.
