Eric Sharp is an AEA actor, playwright, and teaching artist based in Minneapolis. He is currently starring in the world premiere of Start Down by Eleanor Burgess at the Alliance Theatre and recently played Mowgli in Children’s Theatre Company’s new adaptation of The Jungle Book. A regular performer at Mu Performing Arts, Eric has appeared as Malvolio in Twelfth Night, hit the road for FOB: The Minnesota Chinese Restaurant Tour, and wrote and starred in the premiere of his play Middle Brother. As a Mu Stories teaching artist, Eric regularly creates plays with immigrant and ELL youth around the Twin Cities. Other credits include Guthrie Theater, Ten Thousand Things, Walking Shadow Theatre Co., Park Square Theatre, Frank Theatre, and Theatre de la Jeune Lune. He portrayed the young Dalai Lama in Tiger Lion Arts' Minneapolis and NYC productions of The Buddha Prince. Eric also works regularly in commercials, voiceovers, and films.
