Erik’s current news

Erik is in the BFA Acting program at the University of Michigan. Upcoming performances include University of Michigan's production of The Heart of Robin Hood (Robin Hood) directed by Geoff Packard in December 2022. Previous performances have included University of Michigan's productions of Antigone (Haemon) directed by Sam White in February 2022,  Nora: A Doll's House (Thomas 1/2/3) directed by Malcom Tulip in November 2021, Romeo and Juliet (Paris) directed by Sam White in May 2021, and A Beautiful Country (Yoshi) directed by Matthew Ozawa in December 2020 and University of Michigan Basement Arts productions of The Laramie Project (Andy Paris track) in April 2021, and Falsettos (Marvin) in January 2020.  Recent MN performances include Daleko Arts production of Peter and the Starcatcher (Peter), directed by Amanda White.  Erik has also appeared in Normandale Community College Theatre's productions of [Title of Show] (Jeff), directed by Anne Byrd, Pride and Predjudice (Mr. Darcy), directed by Amanda White, A Midsummer Night's Dream (Demetrius), directed by Sean Byrd, and Spring Awakening (Melchior Gabor), directed by Amanda White.  Erik was a finalist for the 2019 KCACTF Irene Ryan Scholarship Award.  

Erik was named Best Performer - AACW at the 2022 SAFD National Stage Combat Workshop. He was Fight Director for Cunning Little Vixen (UMich SMTD Dept of Voice and Symphony Orchestra), and Bernarda Alba (UMich SMTD Musical Theatre Production) and he is currently a Teaching Assistant for UMich SMTD Stage Combat: 1, 2, Advanced courses, taught by Christina Traister.

As a 2017 Hennepin Theatre Trust Spotlight Education Triple Threat Award Winner, Erik was honored with the Spotlight Education Triple Threat Broadway Experience, presented by Sun Country Airlines. The Triple Threat Broadway Experience is an all-expenses paid trip to New York City to meet with industry professionals, participate in workshops and attend Broadway shows.
