Biography

JANET SKIDMORE is a dancer/choreographer turned singer/actress. A former dance specialist in the Chicago Public Schools, she has been a dance roster artist for the Illinois and Minnesota Arts Boards, and for Young Audiences of Minnesota.  Her one woman show, "Marie Taglioni is not a dish of Pasta, OR Modern Dance, from Toe Shoes to No Shoes," received a "Must See" from the Pioneer Press.   Her credits as a singer and band member include productions with Mixed Precipitation, Nautilus Music Theatre, In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre, Minnetonka Community Theatre, and Lyric Arts.  Ms. Skidmore has a mosaic artcar called "Red Mountain", (www.artcarparade.com), is rehabbing a 1911 house, and works in her own flower garden business.
