Julianne Mundale
Julianne Mundale is a professional dancer, singer, actress, dance educator and choreographer in and for musical theatre productions in the Minneapolis/St. Paul theatre community and nationally for over 30 years. She has performed in over 40 reginal productions with The Children’s Theatre Company, Chanhassen Dinner Theatres, The Ordway Center, Disney Productions, The Flying Foot Forum at the Guthrie, Buffalo Gal Productions, Troupe America, Mystery Café, Ruby’s Cabaret and ICE International. Notable/favorite roles: Anita (West Side Story) Lady in Green (Singin’ in the Rain) Reno (Anything Goes) Anytime Annie (42nd Street) Tess (Crazy For You) Cassandra (Cats) Vibrata (Funny Thing Happened…. Forum) to name a few…
For over 30 years, she has been a dance and musical theatre educator and choreographer for regional theatres, over 50 productions for numerous middle school and high school musical productions, show choirs, and dance studios throughout the metro for musical productions, dance competitions and performances, workshops and intensives. She has helped numerous artists with their training and preparing for auditions, for a role they received in a show, dance pieces and college submissions. When not performing herself, she trains currently employed professional artists to maintain and improve their dance training and preparation for an upcoming production and the pre professional up-and-comers!
On January 12, 2024, one of her dreams became a reality, as she opened her own performance company and dance studio, Sol Creative Performing Arts Studio & CompanyLLC.
The studio is designed for anyone who loves musical theatre, but also for any artist who has the desire to pursue a professional career in musical theatre. In May of 2025, the studio opened its doors to its NEW home in St. Louis Park, MN.
Her training began at age 4, and by age 9 she knew she wanted to be a dancer. At age 12, she saw her first Broadway tour of 42nd Street and she knew musical theatre was her calling.
Julianne is trained in American and Russian Ballet, Broadway Musical Theatre and Rhythm tap, Broadway Musical Theatre Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Swing and partnering and baton. She has studied and trained under numerous instructors throughout Minneapolis/St. Paul, and across the US from Chicago, Las Vegas, LA, and New York City.
