The Stillwater Zephyr Theatre and Wahoo Adventures seeks submissions for the ninth annual Stillwater Haunted History Trolley Tour, now with a new script!
One part scripted scenario and one part improvisation with the audience, this interactive Halloween event has performers boarding trolleys as cursed, formerly live residents of Stillwater and performing a horror scene to terrify the audience.
Performers are situated along the trolley route and board the vehicle upon its arrival. After performing their scene, they step off and the trolley continues on its way. A short time later another trolley arrives and a new performance begins.
All performers will be paid a stipend of $750.
IMPORTANT DATES
Auditions:
Monday, July 27, 6:00-9:00 pm
Wednesday, July 29, 6:00-9:00 pm
Rehearsals:
There will be 5 rehearsals between October 1st and 8th, depending on actor availability.
Performances:
Performances run from October 9th through October 30th with shows on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7pm. There will be five trolleys a night, operating out of River Siren Brewing in Stillwater, Minnesota.
AUDITIONS
Auditions will be held at SpringHouse Ministry Center in South Minneapolis (610 W 28th St) on Monday, July 27th and in Stillwater (Location TBA) on Wednesday, July 29th.

All roles are open to all performers regardless of race or gender. People of all genders, sexual orientations, ethnicities, ability, and experience are encouraged to audition.

What to Prepare:
- A one-minute scary story or monologue as a character. Possible examples include a deranged serial killer, a tired older person, a young child, etc. The character can be anything, as long as it is different from yourself. You can bring in your own story, or use one of the examples provided here: AUDITION SIDES. These stories are not meant to be campy, the goal is dread and fear
