Mitchell Hamline School of Law is looking for a several actors to portray attorneys, witnesses and clients as part of their Weekend Workshop on Housing Discrimination for law students. The texts will be actual court transcripts from court cases, dating from the first half of the 20th century, regarding housing discrimination against African Americans.

Transcripts are actual historical records and contain racially charged language; samples are available upon request.

Workshop-style Auditions for “The Last Days of Commodus”

Four Humors is seeking collaboratively-minded artists to perform in its new, original production of “The Last Days of Commodus” at Strike Theater in April 2019.

We will be holding three, 3-hour workshop-style auditions on three nights in January at our rehearsal space in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis in the Ivy Arts Building. These workshops are open to all, regardless of performance experience, education, or background, and we highly encourage artists of color, LGBTQA+, women, and artists with differing abilities to attend.

Auditions for Fearless Five: Noir

Fearless Comedy Productions is holding auditions for Fearless Five: Noir, to be performed on February 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd & 23rd.  Fearless Five features five original one act plays based on a similar theme. Actors are cast in one or more roles across multiple shows.

All five shows are from 10-15 minutes in length and will be performed together.

Rehearsals will begin on January 6th and run through the opening of the show. Most individual shows will rehearse twice a week so rehearsal committment will depend on how many roles the actor is offered.

Fridley Community Theatre to hold auditions for Neil Simon's: "Fools"

Auditions for a dinner theater production of Fools by Neil Simon will be held on Sunday, December 16 from 3 -  5 pm and Monday, December 17 from 6 - 8 pm at the Fridley Community Center, 6085 Seventh Street NE, Fridley. MN.

Actors will be seen on a first-come, first-served basis.

No preparation is necessary. Actors will be asked to do cold readings from sides at the auditions.
